Filing in Vadodara or Ahmedabad
The Special Marriage Act notice is filed in the district where at least one partner has lived for 30 days before the notice. If both of you live in Vadodara, the notice is filed with the Vadodara Marriage Officer. If one of you has been living in Ahmedabad for 30 days (for a job or college, for example), you may file in Ahmedabad instead.
